An all-day degree marathon

Weeks before the new temple was announced, the old hall was running at full capacity. A February 1930 notice advertised degree work beginning at 9 a.m. and running until about 10 p.m., with candidates reporting in three shifts and dinner served at noon. A. A. The membership had outgrown the frame hall completely. The building program that followed was less an ambition than a necessity.
