First quarters, over the fire station

1911

The new lodge’s first home was rented space over the volunteer fire department building at 910 Yale Street, next door to the drugstore of Dr. William Olive, who served as the Heights city recorder and as one of the lodge’s early officers. The lodge would meet on Yale Street for its first years while its membership, and its ambitions, grew.
