The hall belongs to the teenagers

1925–26

By the mid-1920s the corner hall had a full youth calendar. The Order of the Rainbow for Girls met on Saturday afternoons “in the Masonic hall, 1100 Harvard Street,” and a DeMolay chapter held its meetings in the same rooms by night. The Masons had built more than a lodge; they had built the neighborhood’s youth center, a role the coming temple would expand.
