Officers installed at the public playground

1914

In June 1914, Reagan Lodge and Houston Heights Chapter No. 258 of the Order of the Eastern Star held their joint public installation at the playgrounds at 21st and the Boulevard. They had no hall on the corner yet, so the whole neighborhood served as the venue. The Eastern Star chapter elected Mrs. Hilda Gatheman as Worthy Matron that summer.
