A developer takes the corner
1979
In April 1979 developer T. S. Terry acquired the property, and the corner’s longest-lasting modern chapter began to take shape. The Heights revival that would eventually sweep the whole neighborhood started early at this address, with a developer willing to bet on a fifty-year-old landmark before the market agreed.
